But...has anybody checked out the new B737-700 next to some of the AI 737's in the sim? Eric Cantus new (absolutely beautiful!) bird looks a little large next to the AI birds. Particularly the PAI AI, but It also looks big next to FSP 747's. The 74's are larger, but not as much as they normally look next to a 737, especially when comparing window sizes. I first noticed this taxiing the Aeromexico bird at KLAX where theres an abundance of AI airplanes. Im unaware of dimensions here, but it would seem that the scale seems just a little "off" one way or the other. Either the AI is all too small, or the new 737 is too big. (or I need to get better glasses!)Eric Joiner

I parked next to a 737-400, which is longer than a 737-700, and the 737-700 does seem bigger. But I can't say which has the correct scale and which doesn't.And, the 737-700 simply looks bigger because of it's large wingspan--(the better to get to FL410 with), and it's larger vert stab. In those aspects it's larger than a 737-400...What I can say is that the blended winglets seem too large. I fly out of Sky Harbor quite often, and get a chance to spy the SWA 737-700's and from time to time fly in them. Those, and those I see pictured at Airliners.net, seem to have smaller winglets than Erick's version.Having said all that, the 737-7 is a work of art. Scaling is meanlingless once an aircraft is in the air, and the sheer beauty of it's flight can be enjoyed. It's not too often I care to look at 'em on the ground... :)-John
