Flight Sim.2004 and no traffic??

Featured Replies

Hi, Finally purchased the new simulator and I think graphics and so forth are great. Have not had chance to see all of this sim. yet though. But I do see that there is no traffic what so ever at airports like there was in flight sim.2002. There is no default traffic. Is the way it's suppose to be and you have to generate your own traffic? Also, some of the water has no color, it has like a light blue ugly color. Can someone help? Thank you, S.

FS2004 has a huge amount of air traffic if you set it correctly. You have to go into the settings and go to the Traffic menu. From there you can set the traffic %, with 100% giving you plenty of AI traffic at busy airports to the point where you may find yourself waiting in line to take off for up to 20 minutes! The amount of traffic you set is completely up to you. You'll also find that the AI is now more realistic, ie the landings are actually flared and look more convincing, and they fly more accurate routes. The default water isn't fantastic, and you're better off downloading addon water textures.I can assure you, there is very little missing in this sim and I'm sure you'll get a great deal of pleasure out of it!James
