April 21, 200422 yr Does anyone know how to adjust how much the 'pilot's seat' is raised or lowered using the 'move eyepoint up/down' command? I often find that the ideal view setting in the 2D panel lies between two raise/lower seat 'notches.'Regards,Andre
April 21, 200422 yr As far as I know, the unit of default setting in the aircraft.def (look for eyepoint) is in feets. The 1st number is the position front/back, the 2nd one is the lateral position and the 3rd one is the up/down position.Try to play around with these numbers (one at a time!)and you will get the "ideal" seat position...Hope it helps
April 21, 200422 yr Hi Andre,You can change the amount that each 'notch' of adjustment makes by editing the FS9.cfg file. Under the [CONTROLS] section change the value of the PAN_RATE=xxx. I think the default is 600, I have mine set at 250. Bear in mind that this also changes the panning rate in the VC. I am not aware of any other way to change the amount of adjustment in the seat height for each 'notch'.Mike
