April 20, 201214 yr Working an my new MD-80 I just ran into my first serious problem. How can I control the thrust/thrustlever relationship? Looking at e.g. the KC-10 I found out the the relationship is (or very close) linear which is definitely wrong in a jet engine. (at least without FADEC) EDIT: Just found out that it's not only this, but there's an even more serious basic problem: Thrust increases linear with the RPM ?!?! Thanx in advance
