Hi.In FS2k2, I could see other aircraft while flying online a significant distance away. In FS9, I can't see other aircraft unless they are practicaly on top of me,In the FS9.cfg file, within the section for Muliplayer, there are two possible lines that could be the one I need to tweek inorder to extend the 13 mile radius. The two lines are:max_segment_size=100ordistance-display=0anyone have any ideas here.thanksSteve.

The visibility distance varries from plane to plane (maybe by size). I can't find a setting for it in aircraft.cfg so it may be in the .air file. I sure would like to change it.David

Hi Steve,AFAIK if you use SquawkBox 2.x with FS9 for online multiplayer, the rather small sight range is due to SB, and to my knowledge there's no workaround. Be sure to post, if find a way around this limitation.This problem should go away however, when we get a new SB (for VATSIM) or IVAp (for IVAO). The FPI pilot client software doesn't have this limitation, I think.ByeOliver
