FSX in 3D lighting issue

Featured Replies

Hi,

There is already some kind of fix for lighting issues on fsx in 3D mode using the Nvidia 3D Vision kit?

Thanks

There is already some kind of fix for lighting issues on fsx in 3D mode using the Nvidia 3D Vision kit?

I have the Nvidia 3D Vision Kit and all it provides is the DVD with the latest display drivers and 3d goggles. I have not seen a fix for the lighting issues so I continue to fly during the day when flying 3D.

Best regards,

Jim

Hi,

Thanks for your reply but it's really bad that there is still no solution for this issue because flying fsx in 3D is great, except at night  .

What exactly is wrong with the lighting effects in 3D, I don't use it, so no way to know.

There was a light fix for triple screens, put out by NickN, What was happening, the lights were appearing too large and bright across 3 screens and the fix replaced the original bmp. with a lower intensity one. So, if all you want to do is reduce the light glare, then this may help.

Make sure to look at the readme file, before installing etc.

If the 3D effect is causing other issues, then the fix may not help.

Ron.
