Here are my basic system specs

 

Zoostorm Premium Desktop PC,

Core i5-2400 3.1GHz,

8GB RAM,

1.5TB HDD,

DVDRW,

GF GTX550Ti,

Windows 7 Home Premium

 

As the topic header asks, will it be worth either, adding the 580 or just replacing the 550 with a 580? Or any other suggestions, NVIDIA only though.

 

I play MS FSX with Aerosoft/Latin VFR and other scenery add-ons,using PMDG NGX, Aivla Soft EFB, REX, and GSX.

 

I don't play any other games on my PC

Did you read the Hardware Guide in my sig? That would help you quite a lot deciding.

It should definatley make a difference but don't expect it to be huge.

 

Also upgrading your CPU to an i5 2500K would make a great difference. But only if you overclock it though. :)
