April 27, 200422 yr Recenly I have been crashing upon trying to land about 70 % of the time. All is well comming down on ILS until about 200 to 1000 feet when, without warning a very strong downdraft (wind shear?) slams me into the ground. After sitting in my chair for a 1-2 hour flight this is NOT the way I want to end the flight... ruins my whole day. I'm flying the 737-700 with ACTIVESKY 2004 AND FSUIPC engauged. I think this started when I begain using Active Sky 2004. Is there an "ajustment" in FSUIPC (or Active Sky) that will stop these very strong winds? I don't want to have to go back to default weather in FS2004. Thanks for your help. jerry
April 27, 200422 yr I think this question is best answered by the Active Sky forum but you could try unchecking the wake turbulence in the options menu if you haven't tried that yet.
