need help installing Ariane 737NG

Featured Replies

Hi to anyone who has had any luck what sover getting the Araine Studios 737-800NG to install properly in FS9. when I load the aircraft I get very blurry textures and when I click on the LibInst2004.exe it flashes for a second but nothing happens so I put the folder with the scenery and texture files to my add-on scenery folder and added it through the settings tab. when I open Fs9-still nothing (no clear textures inother words)so is there anyone out there that can help me because Ariane has ignored my emails for help which will probably cause me not to buy anything more from this outfit agian if they don't even bother to support their cistomers. appreciate any help with this issue. thanks.

I don't know what to say except that this is Ariane's way of doing "business". They are a ripoff outfit that disappeared for a while but now they're back with the same old scam. See the long post from the last day or so, and maybe you should add your experience to it. I'm sure a lot more people are going to get scammed because they don't know the history of Ariane. They've also opperated under a number of different names in the past, which they also may resurect.Davidedit: This is the heading of the post: Looks like the battle lines are drawn.....

First question--do you see any textures (IOTW, do you see blurred versions of what they could be?). A screenshot may help....It sounds like they are setting up these aircraft in an odd way--I am wondering why an aircraft should have any scenery folder associated with it, unless they are enabling features this way as some type of copy protection scheme. Just to be safe, make sure your terrain texture settings are maxed in MSFS. Also, go to your aircraft tab (in display settings) and max the slider at the bottom there. If those are maxed (you haven't posted your system specs) and you have a capable graphics card, you could try getting ahold of the latest version of DXTBMP--and removing the MIPS from the fuse and wing textures to start. Some designers include them, and they are known to cause blurries in some setups, although they don't on mine.Sorry to hear about your communication issues with Ariane. I won't add to the comment already made--gotta stay focussed on fixing your problem :)
