A stupid question!

Featured Replies

Dear Memebers, This might sound stupid...but i really need abit of help....I installed Fs9 and everything works Great...One of my favorites features in fs is that there is an option that it can open/close Aircraft doors...(Shift+E)..Well the question is :) can someone tell me which is the other option that it opens the baggage compartments( let's say for the PSS 320..i managed to do that in fs2002) Can someone tell me at least which is the exact name in the commands menu so that i can change it or enable it..?Regards,

I don't know about the PSS 320, but usually the next open command if it is assigned is "Shift+E then 2".

Check out the key assignments for:Tail HookConcorde nose downConcorde nose upExit open/closeThe PSS, POSKY, PMDG et-al models typically use these (mostly unused) function to control cargo and passenger doors. I found that FS9 doesn't assign those functions key strokes by default. Also, using a shift with some key combinations causes command conflicts. Any key combo containting a shift+ digit typically needs to be remaped or you'll have problems with panels show/hide commands. A good example of this is the pushback/turn feature (shift + P + 2) that won't let you turn (that's because shift+2 is a panel show/hide command). In most cases, you can substitute ctrl for shift.Hope this helps,

Much more thorough key assignments than what I posted Etienne. As you posted, a lot of planes use these other assignments....pushback/turn feature (shift + P + 2) that won't let you turn (that's because shift+2 is a panel show/hide command)."Shift + P" is the pushback feature and then #1 for left or #2 for right. Always works for me when initiated as follows:1. Shift + P (starts pushback feature) 2. pause (wait at least a second before starting turn)3. select #'s 1 or 2 for turn direction (1=L, 2=R, viewed from rear of aircraft)
