May 3, 200422 yr I loaded some third party scenery software and now when I load FS9, I get the following error messages. "(Addon ScenerysceneryKSTLJetwaysSCENERY) in Scenery Area.051 not found. Click OK to continue." Three of the five in the parenthesis area state (SceneryNAMCSCENERY) in scenery Area .xxx The other two are NAMW and NAME. Is there any way I can eliminate these error messages? I have edited the scenery.cfg file and Area .051 is for the St. Louis Jetways. Any help to eliminate these messages would be appreciated.
May 4, 200422 yr The Local PATH in your scenery.cfg file must match the PATH to the required files eg:[Area.100]Title=LFRDLocal=Addon SceneryEuropeFranceLFRDRemote=Active=TRUERequired=FALSELayer=100Looking for files in directory:Addon SceneryEuropeFranceLFRDOf course you can remove any AREA which refers to these files in the scenery.cfg (not forgetting to renumber) or just disable them in the scenery libraryAlan
May 4, 200422 yr Alan,Thank you for your help. It solved two of the five problems. The three remaining are really bumming me out. The following is one of the three:"SCENERY.CFG file error. Local scenery directory (Scenery]NAMWSCENERY) in scenery Area.010. Click OK to continue."When I use the Notepad and check out the SCENERY.CFG file, I show the following in Area.010:"[Area.010]Title=Western North AmericaLocal=SceneryNAMWLayer=10Active=TRUERequired-FALSERemote= " (This, of course without the quotation marks.)The other two are just like this except their for area .008 NAMC (which is Title=Central North America)and Area .009 NAME (which is Title-Eastern North America).Does this make any sense to you. I assume that they are the original scenery files installed from FS(.Again, thanks for taking the time to help.Frank
