DC-4

Featured Replies

Hi allI hope someone can help me with this problem, In FS9 I cannot see the wheels or the propeller on my DC-4 aircraft. I have one DC-4 folder with four textures added, eg: "British Eagle, American Overseas Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Dan-Air London"I copied these aircraft over from FS2002 into FS9.everything else is ok.I hope someone can steer me in the correct direction to fix this problem or tell me where to get the correct files to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.Mac

Many FSDS-built aircraft lose their props and prop circles when brought into FS9 from FS2002.However, there are new models available at FS-Design Berlin that are updated, or specifically made, for FS2004. I suggest you wander over there for a look:http://www.fsdesign-berlin.da.ru/You'll find a good soundset there too. For one of the best DC-4 panels, go to www.calclassic.com.Hope this helps. There is no "fix" for your problem as such.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

Hi againI did as you suggested and downloaded a base dc-4 for FS9, then I added other texture folders & altered the aircraft.cfg, also added the ground-handling gauge.everything is working ok now, great. that's been bugging me for a while, I always though it was ok to import aircraft from FS2002, I should have known better.many thanks for your advice, now I am going for a flight out of Inverness and see where I land.see yamac
