Either luck or brains has helped me avoid CTDs since FS2000. I have one now- fully re-producable. I have the PMDG 6/7/8/9 installed, and when I start a scenery with "Building Storms" I get a CTD- offending module is weather.dll. If I select clear skies, then change to building storms it works fine. Just curious if anyone has seen anything similiar.

I don't have their great 6/7/8/9...too much cockpit work for me :)But I guess my question is, do any of these aircraft have a weather radar gauge? Perhaps something would be happening which causes a problem as the gauge initializes...-John

I too have received CTD's whenever I start up a flight with other than the default weather. It's impossible (ok, very difficult) for me to find the offending gauge, scenery, or aircraft as I have a lot installed. However, I simply start up my flight/situation with the default weather then goto the menu and load the weather I desire. No more CTD's. Although I too have the PMDG aircraft installed, I have the same problem with all aircraft so PMDG is not the problem IMHO. I know I had the problem much earlier than when I first installed PMDG aircraft. Hope this helps.Jim Young
