i have a serious problem with my FS2004,i have the following addons:FSGenesis meshvarious freeware meshesall Simflyers sceneryall UK2000 sceneryvarious other basic sceneriesPMDG 737NG incl. 800/900FSNavLAGO Tornadomy system specs are listed below.whenever i load up FS, if i don't select a stock airport & aircraft it will quit to the desktop at ~60% of the progress slider.its driving me crazy!as soon as i remove ALL the (scenery) addons from the scenery.cfg (still does it if i disable them), it loads up fine.anyone got any ideas??? help much appreciated!i also have another problem - when i do a long (ish ~1.5hrs) flight the fps gradually get slower & slower. i have removed completely the autogen file "default.xml"this also happens if i load up somewhere (say paris) then move to another airport further (say moscow, then beijing, then hawaii etc...) a few times, i will eventually get a FS9 Out of memory error.considering my system FS9 should run spotlessly & it does, but not for long & not with any addons.i've tried a complete reinstall of everything, but it still does it.thanks

Hi,I have had similar problems, and they were all related to the way some addons "pork" the cfg file.It sounds as though you have one or more duplicated entry, OR there is a duplicated "area" or "layer" entry in your cfg file.There was a utility to "clean" up the cfg file, but its name escapes me.Good luck nailing this problemDan.

yep checked that already.i'm working through adding addons slowly 1 by 1 at the moment, hopefully i will find the problem entry.
