May 13, 200422 yr ...for my setup. It may apply to your setup as well.I was not pleased since day 1 about the "too bright" ground, especially taxyways, and too white clouds (visible) when flying at night.During day time, I always found the outside view was "dull", not as contrasted and varied as what you often get from a real photo from above.I then started to tweak a little the color calibration from the ATI control panel (on a 9600PRO) and the result were very nice and an overall change in the experience to me: dark nights, with bright illumnitation where present (night texture spots and rwy/taxi spots), as well as a more profound dark and bright during day time. Just noticeable clouds at night and no longer these white clouds as in day time when flying at night (try a low vis approach now with rain and you'll see the difference...)So in short, here are the settings (in the Color tab of the ATI control panel):Gamma: 0.80Brightness: -10Contrast: 129I only use these in full screen but it should work as well in window mode.Too each is own as always. I hope this will also enhance your experience as much as it did to me!Hope this helps!
