June 7, 201213 yr Hi, Having loaded my DC-3 successfully on both Windows XP and Vista in the past , I now find with my new computer that I'm unable to do so on Windows 7 . On loading the disc and and following the normal routine the computer states , " Successfully installed " but nothing appears on my FS2004 . Any suggestions as to why . Thank you .
June 9, 201213 yr Any suggestions as to why . Thank you . Well, it's there somewhere. I suspect you're not seeing the aircraft when you first start up FS9? Most likely it didn't get installed in the right directory so you need to search for it and move the folder over to the FS9 aircraft folder. Click on the Start icon and type DC3 (or the name of the aircraft). If it doesn't find the installation, click on more results. Click on the main drive that contains FS9, then, in the upper right, click the search icon and click on the aircraft again and it will search your whole main drive. In Windows 7, security is enhanced and you probably should disable UAC and any anti-virus program before installing. Once the installation is complete, you can reenable these programs if desired. Best regards, Jim
