Is it normal for the throttle to rock back and forward fast rather than smooth, in autopilot ?

The Throttle animation in the 747-400X is not nearly as advanced as the 737NGX model. It is a bit jerky in the animation and will be much improved in the 747-400X V2 when it is released.
