May 15, 200422 yr Hi, folks-Can any of you tell me what paperwork is involved in dispatching a flight from the pilot's perspective in actual commercial ops for different airlines? Or even better yet, email me scanned samples (simonatsymbolbinderdotsymbolorg)? For me, the pre-flight prep is as important (and fun) part of the flight as the actual flying. I'm trying to simulate actual commercial ops as closely as possible, and although I wouldn't go so far as accounting for meals or things like that, I'd love to find or create a program that could generate dispatch paperwork as close as possible to the real thing. For example, I believe that pilots receive paperwork that details the ETOPS status of flights and includes ETOPS entry and exit points as well as alternate information.Currently, all I'm working with is the navlog generated by FSBuild. Although this has really enhanced my flying experience, I'm not certain it's close to what actually takes place. Can anyone with actual commercial experience shed light on this subject for me?Thanks!-Simon
