FSX Fuel sequencing

Featured Replies

Can anyone explain to me how fsx sequences fuel flow - in particular on aircraft without any apparent fuel tank selectors.

I have been using the Overland MD11 for some time now but have suddenly been hit with the following problem:

Initially fuel is taken only from the Left tank and when that is empty the no1 engine stops but can be restarted and then runs okay. When the Right tank empties the no3 engine stops and again can be restarted.

This problem has only occured since I installed FSLabs Concorde X but I fail to see how that can have caused the problem.

It would seem that any 'multi tank' aircraft now suffers from unbalanced fuel flow.

I cannot see anything in the aircraft.cfg files that may affect sequencing but hope that someone has greater knowledge on how these things work.

Thanks in anticipation.

Mike
