On a flight from KELP to KSAT in the default lear I opened up my GPS window half way thru and flip on the FPL page. I then click on the cursor knob and CTD. Just wandering if this is something that others have had happen or is it something to do with my system?

Not likely a system problem since it appears localized.There have been threads lately in different forums and sites which seem to be pointing to Afcad file discrepencies / conflicts which cause CTD's _not_ related to the seasonal change issue, in conjunction with GPS functionality. In that regard, are you using add-on scenery which contain or otherwise use Afcad alterations? Does the CTD occur on a similar flight when the GPS is _not_ used?

I'm gonna test it out tonight without the GPS. On a second flight it happened again with the GPS window opened but not when clicking anything(wanted to see if I could duplicate it or it was a one time deal). Gonna try it one more time without any GPS. It did happen both at day and night. As for addons I was pretty much out in no mans land during this but the only real enviro addons is the airport files the enhance all the defaults. I havent done anything to correct for any CTD that have ever been mentioned because I never had them happen. So I will see what I can find out and if I do get a CTD on this flight then who knows when I will fly again.

Just out of interest, does your GPS map show terrain?Colin
