Windows XP crashes after w while of flying and my PC is about to learn how to fly

Featured Replies

It is really getting on my nerves.First problem fixed, thanks to your guys' help!!But now here is the next oneFlying for a bit (10-30 minutes, it varies) Windows XP crashes. I end up with a blue screen that tells me that the system shut down and what to do. Of course I have done what it says (update driver of grafic casrd, uninstall any new software etc) but it didn't help. The screen also tells me a file name (kmixer.sys) that is likely responsible... Means nothing to me.Is there anyone that can help? PLEAAAASE!Best Regards,CaptCooper

kmixer.sys is part of the Windows NT Kernal handling audio on your system. You might want to first try updating your sound drivers, and then reinstall DirectX 9.0b.Your system specs would be helpful to us.Good luck,Greg
