May 26, 200422 yr I've searched and seen all the posts regarding both of these programs. It seems the combination of the two is the way to go at the moment.I've also read that Ultimate Traffic will do GA traffic. So here are my questions, I hope someone can help me out:1) How are both installed and they don't step on each other? Is there a specific install order to make sure that they don't step on one another?2) With GA-Traffic, I guess I don't understand how I control the amount of traffic. What am I missing? I keep thinking I should be seeing a slider or something the amount of traffic.3) With Ultimate Traffic, is there any way to set the amount of traffic as well or is it just the way it is as it is based off expired schedules? Does it just follow the schedule and thats it?4) With UT, should I select all aircraft types and airlines? What is more realistic?5) With UT, if I do select all airlines and planes, do the schedules follow the airlines at specific airports? For example, if at KSEA they don't have Coolio Airlines but I have it selected in the UT config, will Coolio Airlines show up at KSEA even though it wasn't in the schedule?I hope that all made sense, if any of it didn't, please let me know and I'll try to change my verbage on it.Thanks everyone. :-)
May 26, 200422 yr 1) I use both - you can turn of GA in UT.2) there is a slider on one of the tabs that controls percentage of GA spots usedQuestions 4 & 5 - I select all, and as I understand it yes the schedules follow the airlines at specific airports.
May 26, 200422 yr Just to follow up Ken's post, I too turn off GA traffic in UT, which means deselecting all the GA aircraft on the compile page. I do compile UT airline traffic for the whole world, and airlines will show up at airports where they are supposed to. There is a slider in FS that allows you to adjust how much traffic you want. Then you can adjust the percentage of traffic in GA-Traffic, so it's very nice to have separate controls for both. Installation order shouldn't matter, they are different programs.Cheers,Todd
