Problem with livery installation!

Featured Replies

Hello there.

I have recently downloaded, and installed the PMDG 737NGX for FSX. The standard PMDG livery airplanes works fine. Both the visual model, and (visual) virtual cockpit. The sounds are also working.

Well, I then tried to install some of the liveries offered from PMDG site and then a lot of things obviously went wrong. I installed the SAS livery for 737-800 with the help from the livery manager and apparently everything was working fine.

But when I started FSX and choose the airplane nothing was working as expected. Here is a list of everything that is not working:

The initialization routine for the plane is gone.

Virtual cockpit PFD and other screens are black.

Not a single button works in 2D, or 3D cockpit.

No moving parts on external, a or internal model. For example, throttles and flight yoke don't move when I move them, but the plane actually does react to what I do. And the elevator and ailerons (etc.) do not move

No lights

And after like a minute or so a standard fsx pop up screen turns up with "a fatal error occured" and fsx shuts down.

I have tried with other liveries and for the 737-900 but its the same problem.

I have completely uninstalled the PMDG 737NGX and reinstalled. That didn't fix anything. I really do not understand what's going on!
