May 29, 200422 yr Does anyone in the AVSIM-community observed somewhere a volcano eruption in MSFS 2004? Even the famous Mauna Kea, active volcano and highest point (13796 feet AMSL) on the island Hawai, looks dead and there is no crater to be seen. Is this phenomena as random as the Northern Lights are in MSFS 2004? What a disappointment!Paddy.

May 29, 200422 yr Hello Andrew,According your instructions I departed Mountain View Airstrip, with the Cessna 172, heading 218 magnetic and indeed after some distanceof flying I got the fuming crater of the Kilauea in sight!I found it located at HILO Vor/Dme on Radial 208 FROM at DME 24.5 NM.(Frequency 116.90 Mcs) and at the very position you gave me. So I started from Hilo Airport with a Fokker F-100 full of curious tourists on April 1st,1983 at midnight tracking above mentioned radial outbound and found the volcano in full eruption. Very spectacular indeed !! I added this flight to my collection of "Particular Flightseeing Routeplans MSFS 2004"I owe you many thanks for having at least one vulcano eruption to sightsee or flightsee if you want. Have a glance at Dave,s reply, who hinted me to the zipfile, you had probably in mind when you contacted me.Thanks again and kind regards,Paddy.

May 29, 200422 yr Hoi Jim.No, because I was too busy last days in an other AVSIM forum.Reading your reminder just now, I rushed to download "The Tiger" from the Library forum.Thank you very much for your hint and your reminder, resulting in flying my beloved aircraft as from tomorrow!Kind regards,Paddy.
May 30, 200422 yr Be assured I do, Jim! Nice flying, as we did in the fiftees of the past century. The events slip away over the horizon of the time....But in MSFS we get them back!Cheers,Paddy.
