Reno Racers

Featured Replies

I have the Reno Racer package by Roger Dial for 2002 but can't find for the life of me a set for 2004 , all i find is textures so there must be a package. If you say the hangar .net - i went there and don't know where it is. Some one must have this pack for 2004. Thanks Louis

Hi,I don't think there is an FS2004 package of the Reno Racers because the 2002 package works just fine in FS2004. There are some differences in texturing between FS2002 and FS2004, I think entirely in the area of the alpha-channel. It can be seen if you try to use a 'chrome' paint job made for FS2002 in FS2004 and on some cockpit glass windows made for FS2002(transparency). So if you see that a texture(paint job) was made for the Reno Racers for FS2004 you know it was made with FS2004 in mind. I believe that the vast majority of textures made for the Reno Racers that were made for FS2002 will work fine in FS2004 also, but perhaps not every single one, like a chrome paint job that was made for FS2002.Regards,Jim

Hey --thanks Jimmy i'll slap it in there>It's just that the scenery in 2004 is getting really good and it's nice to get a break from the heavies and just give her with the mustangs low and fast down in the vallies---Thankjs again cause i was stommped ----Louis ML2488 WJA131 and CVA2488
