Tom,I don't think this is exactly what you had in mind but a fellow named Paul Brand posted a replacement landing light texture file called spotlight.zip here on AVSIM. It does not offer any way to vary the beam width beyond what he provided but it may point you in a direction to make one yourself that illuminates what you want.Stan V.
