Thruster Sprint

Featured Replies

Downloaded this micro(ultra)light yesterday, as I may shortly be trying out the real thing. Excellent model, although a little heavy on the frames (as the author mentions in the readme). The problem I get is with replays. I might have a perfectly smooth flight, but when I play the replay, the aircraft is jumping up and down. I know this doesn't affect flying the aircraft, but wondered if anyone else had similar, or if anyone knows of a solution. I don't recall seeing this with any of my (many) other aircraft.Thanks,Boogie.

Hi Boogie ,I am the designer of the Thruster Sprint and i cannot say i have noticed this problem myself but i rarely record flights so unfortunately i cannot help you with this query,i do suppose you are using the latest drivers for your graphics board by the way.I have updated to a screemer of a pc since i started the thruster but the guys at island microlight club in malta and the other testers in australia did not have any frame rate problems on 64 meg and 128meg graphics boards as for the twichy play back i am as stumped as you are.it would be nice to know the answer for my own info though.Cheers Byron

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have the latest drivers. My graphics card (FX5200) has 64 megs, but my PC is hardly a 'screamer' - just a P4 1.9, with 512 megs. I will let you know if I resolve the issue.BTW, I have now taken my first microlight flight, but not in a thruster, in an AX3 instead. Still extremely enjoyable!Regards,Boogie.
