June 4, 200422 yr >Is this aircraft available in the USA?>>MurrellHi Murrell. Unfortunately, the answer is no. However, I ordered mine from the GAME site, and recieved it within a week. I personally, think it is awesome. Andrew W continues to up the anty with his improvements. I feel this will be one heck of a Concorde package when it's all said and done. I personally, felt it was worth every dime. Worked out to be around $35 US. This was the pkg. offered tha had the DVD as well. If your intrigued by Concorde, as I am...I think you might be happy with the package. There is a fairly steep learning curve ala RFP 2...but to me; that is a challenge I enjoy. Good Luck.Best,Dave

I've had the Concorde a couple of weeks and I'm still not airborne. The 400+ page manual is well written though.Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgwww.BAVirtual.co.uk[p]Officially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo[/p]
June 5, 200421 yr It is certainly a very good plane, and a very complex one too.Why only today, 3 weeks after I purchased it, I have just discovered how to make the fuel transfer system work :-lolI can't find one single thing I dont like about the plane, the sounds are great and the afterburner effects.Definatly not one for the impatient or faint-hearted :-lolCheersDan.
June 5, 200421 yr So as a guy who flys the PMDG planes because they are so real, I would appreciate the realism in the Concorde? Just want to make sure its not a half done simulation before I buy it. The GAME website offers precious little detail and pics of what the package includes.Edit: Do they have an actual website, or a support forum of some kind?Edit 2: Wow, I just did a currency conversion and my understanding is that it will be roughly $50 USD. Yikes! I might have to rethink this. I am a cheapsake ;)
June 5, 200421 yr THe PMDG range of 737's (which I love, don't get me wrong) is a doddle compared to the concorde. It's no surprise this bird had a three-man flight crew; fuel management in itself is incredibly complex.www.sstsim.com is the site you're after, although if you look through the general forum on www.concordesst.com you'll find reference to this software also.EDIT: just a thought about the "half done" bit of you post. There is a update (not a patch per se since it works great as is) due out this week that will add electrical and hydraulic panels and will also configure all cockpit systems/switches ready for flight - to aid those like myself who are under some degree of strain whilst trying to get my head around this thing:-)EDIT2(too!)>Edit 2: Wow, I just did a currency conversion and my understanding is that it will be roughly $50 USD. I am a cheapsake Well, that's one benefit of living in the UK at the moment... actually it may be the only benefit! :-)Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgwww.BAVirtual.co.uk[p]Officially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo[/p]
June 5, 200421 yr Thank you Paul for your reply. I can't get the sstsim.com link to work, it says 'www.sstsim.com could not be found.'

Yikes! I>might have to rethink this. I am a cheapsake ;)Hi Fred. I think you would be very happy with "Concordr" product if thta is your thing. I myself enjoy this package immensiley; and I'm a real world Captain on B737's. I have talked to Andrew w via emails, and I can say he and his team are only interested in producing a very realistic Concorde. Also, I ordereed the package offered fro GAME...I paid approx 35.00 fro shipping and handling in the Dallas area...and recieved my product approx 1 week later. I was very satisfied with the service and the product. Andrew w and team just keeps upping the realism of th product. As a real worlde pilot, flying this sim; I am happy with my purchase. Good Luck and enjoy Fred.Best,DaveSorry fror the wierd typpos, I splilled tea on my keyboard earlieer, so there ya goDaveDave
