Strange problem with iFDG A320's

Featured Replies

With the latest FDE and MDL updates to the A320's, I'm sure I've messed something up . When I reach my cruising altitude (on autopilot), my planes start to 'rock' back and forth about a degree or two, but still maintaining their altitude. I'm using Eric's panel, and first thought that was the cause. I alias that same panel for my A321's, and they fly straight as an arrow.Any ideas what might be messed up in my aircraft's cfg file? And a question of opinion - how may of you are running the latest 9.0 FDE update, compared to using the last of the 8.x version? Thanks in advance.Scott

I went back to the 7.0b's with the 1.3 MDL update and a CLEAN re-install of the panel and all it's updates, and she works like a charm. Still got to figure out why I get INOP all the time from the flight computer on Eric's panel. Now, for somebody to do an all-FS2004 A330....Scott

This is possibly due to changes in the airfile to correct some other function, probably something to do with the characteristics during holding the angle in turns. I had this exact same problem the other day but with a different plane. A change in one or the other or both these autopilot settings in the aircraft.cfg file might help: nav_proportional_control= nav_integrator_control= Can't tell you exactly what to alter, whether more or less than the original figures, but might be worth a try. I would suggest trying less than the original figures first. Remember the original settings so you can put them back in case it doesn't improve.
