Trouble with a panel...

Featured Replies

When I mix the SGA A300 and Benoit Gaurant's panel, I can no longer get any lights beyond the ventral strobe. Whenever I hit L, the lights flash until I let go. Holding down L turns them all into strobes, all rapidly flashing on and off...How can I fix this? The buttons in the panel seem to be useless.

*bump* cmon I know you geniuses out there have a fix for it!!

Holding down the "L" key simply toggles the lights. The strobe effect comes from the "L" key rapidly turning them on and off, the same way cycling a household light switch would cause the effect in your own home.My guess is there's a gauge in the panel which has overridden the lights, or you've somehow corrupted the lights section of the aircraft.cfg while adding the panel. If you replace the panel folder with a generic folder, and the lights come back, then the issue is a gauge the panel uses. If not, then as I said, the lights section of your aircraft.cfg probably got fouled up...-John

RGR didnt touch the aircraft.cfg so it must be a gauge...guess i need to dig up Benoit's email and try to find out what to pull...

Okay, its fixed! Downloaded the Airbus Flight Dynamics Upgrade v2 from the File Library here and it included files for his panel. They work beautifully now!grab_002.jpg
