When I fly an amphibian aircraft and land on the water, with the gear in the retracted position, I get a beeping sound out of the speaker, that is inside of my computer's case. The "gear_warning_available" is turned off (set to 0) in the aircraft.cfg file and the air file. The beep DOES NOT come from the speakers connected to my sound card. As soon as I lower the gear (while still on the water) the beeps stop. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this. I have the latest sound drivers installed.Thanksgreenco

Hi,I don't know the answer. I hope someone else might know. I will tell you that I don't get a beeping from my PC speaker, but I do get a red message in FS that say that my landing gear is being damaged. I think I get it even if I'm just sitting in the water and not moving. I just ignore it.Jim
