Piper Warrior/Cherokee

Featured Replies

So, what is the best Warrior or Cherokee out there? I've searched and searched, and I can't find one with a decent panel, nor that flies on the numbers. I don't care much about the exterior visuals, I'm using this for practice not screenshots. If anyone is working on one and wants a test pilot who flies the real thing, I can oblige there too.

Just bump it up 20 horses & get the Dreamfleet Archer II. Excellent 2D panel as well as very well done VC. And the "exterior" looks good too!....................besides the fact that the flight dynamics are very much like flying real Warriors & Archers. And speaking of exteriors........For whatever reason, I require good looking "outsides". Probably because I'm into building kitbuilt/ experimental aircraft & want them to look good. But never the less, if I'm supposeably getting into a fake airplane to do fake flying.......... then the outside better be well "faked". I just can't stand flying toilet paper rolls!!! :)Besides, I also flew a lot of R/C, and my simming is usually 50% spot view for a much more realistic scan.L.Adamson

They are all Cherokees. Warriors, Archers, Arrows etc are just different variations.I agree the F1 Archer is the best (I also fly one in real life) and considering it was released for FS2002 says something about it's enduring quality. There is also a Warrior under development here that looks very promising:http://www.aussim.com.au/piper/default.htm
