Local group get-together (Seattle Area)

Featured Replies

Being involved with Flight Simulation since the dawn of Bruce Artwick and Sub Logic, I would like to see if there are any other flight simmers out there in the Seattle area who would like to get together for a luncheon or dinner sometime in the month of July to have a friendly group chat about Flight Simulation in general. All of us have posted many posts here in the AVSIM forums and have often wondered what it would be like to finally see the face behind the posts. Well, here is your chance. Note, there will also be a specal guest at this meeting who is also wanting to get more involved with the Flight Sim community. He has placed it upon me to get a group of simmers together from around the Seattle area to meet sometime in July on a Saturday or Sunday for a few hours for some fun and to share memories about flight simulation. The location at this time will be either at The Jet Deck at KAPE (Paine Field) in Everett, WA or at The Blue Yonder at Harvey Field in Snohomish. If you would like to come and join us, please e-mail me direct at:mailto:[email protected] the more people we have, we will find a definate time to get together and enjoy an afternoon of fun!Shawn AndersonEverett, WA U.S.Ahttp://www.onlinesimulationsolutions.com/sigs/sa.jpg

Sounds fine. I vote for the Jet Deck, as they have good fish n chips, and are only 5 minutes from me. :(Dan

Thanks Dan. You sound pretty close to me as well. I live in North Everett right now so KPAE is pretty close. I was also going to throw in the posibility of KBFI which may attract more flight simmers from the south. Send me an e-mail and we'll go from there.Shawn AndersonEverett, WA U.S.Ahttp://www.onlinesimulationsolutions.com/sigs/sa.jpg
