Changing "Heading" "Altitude" and other controls on an Airbus Panel

Featured Replies

I consider myself fairly knowledgeable in FlightSim going into my 5th year sim-flying. I have a question about changing settings on an Airbus panel:When i go to increase or decrease the settings, they only incease or decrease in increments of 10 or 100 or 1000, if I pause then click, it may increase by 5 then back to 10. How can I change (or correctly) add increments by 1, similar to the panels in the default MSFS 9 planes. I am currently using FS2004, but I remember this being an issue (with me) back in FS2002. Any help would be great THANKS!

You need FSUIPC installed. If you already have it then: In FS9 or FS2002, under Modules/FSUIPC, go to the "Technical" page and select/check "Fix control acceleration". That should do it.

Thanks!! I'll give it a shot!! Something that has been that frustrating ends up being that easy of a fix.........

By any chance, are you using Eric Marciano's Airbus panel(s)? With this panel I have found that, above FL180, if I keep the altimeter to 29.92 instead of "STD" I can make adjustments in smaller increments. I don't know if this applies to other panels, though.BTW, if you're not using it, this is a GREAT airbus panel.Alex M.

That's what I use... I agree it is excellent....but interestingly enough once i went into FSUIPC and made the adjustment it worked perfectly..........
