Can anyone, please, recommend an airport scenery file or at least a fix for this great airport suitable for FS2002Thanks

Suggestions anyone?

Greg Schmidtz has a scenery that just adds jetways to the terminal. I think his stuff is on the other site. Y'know, the one that's "so busy that nobody goes there anymore," to quote Yogi Berra.Greg has done this for quite a few airports. It doesn't give you the photo-real excitement that more recent add-ons do, but having a lot of airports with jetways is still a nice touch. Also, his jetways don't put your machine into slide-show mode the way a lot of the more intensive sceneries do.

I'm just bumping this so anyone who needs a good source for freeware scenery files can take note.CheersTony

Thanks Tony, this is an excellent resource. Bookmarked!Best RegardsBoone,[email protected]"Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes."

Dude! You rule! This guy has done an awesome job of cataloguing a lot of useful information. I'll be burning bandwidth for a while with this one!

Hi,I agree. That's a nice web page of good stuff there.Cheers,Jim

speaking of KOAK... anyone know how I can add the horizon lights (dont know the name really, its the set of 4 lights that light up red/white to tell you high or low) to appear on runway 22 and its opposite? Its a beautiful approach coming into the bay but its much easier to have those lights there guiding you in. Anyone? I tried a few afcad2 files but that didn't seem to do it. Thanks!

Re KOAK1.- Do a search under FS2002 scenery. If I rememeber there is a KOAK there. Also I thought Shez was creating one for 2004 but I could be wrong.2. - For the VASI light landing system, that is done in AFCAD2.A. Pull up the airport in AFCAD2 (if there are several to choose from, you'll probably want the top layer/highest numbered layer otherwise it is just STOCK)B. Zoom in and click on the runwayC. Click on the VASI tabD. Select which runway you wish to work on (In your case rwy 22)E. Under "System" select PAPI 4F. Save and Exit. Re-start FS2004

Sorry I am not familiar with afcad2, I just know how to download the file and put it in the addonscenery folder! Would somebody who has a realistic parking layout be able to tweak their afcad2 file to put the lights on all the runways?? thanks!
