September 19, 201213 yr Wondering why this exists? Oliver Cooksey Owner of the PMDG 737, 747 and Majestic Q400.
September 19, 201213 yr If you notice, PMDG stores their variants (Honeywell vs. Collins, etc) within the VC but moved out of sight. My guess is that when you change the options in the FMC, it's basically moving VC objects around...I'm assuming that's how they are able to offer the ability to switch VC variants without the aircraft having to be reloaded. If you go to the VC and then move to the outside of the aircraft, the cockpit area is dominated by a huge white PMDG-labeled "box" that contains all the different options. It's pretty slick really and IMO, a great innovation to allow real time changing of aircraft variants/customer options. Adam Hill

September 19, 201213 yr That's just the preview of the woodpigeon, they are playing it smart, but I'm way ahead of PMDG's game.
