July 2, 200421 yr Hi, guys,:-zhelp Does anyone know of a good HUD or HGS system for FS9? I was using the AFG HGS for 2002 and loved it, but it doesn't have a guidance cue in 2k4. It'd be great if someone could update that, but I don't have any clue how to do it. Call me crazy, but I fly all my approaches manually, so this is a very important feature for me.Let me know! Thanks! :7Mike Tucson, AZ"You must be the change you wish to see in the world"--Mahatma Gandhi
July 3, 200421 yr Mike,I have good news for you. The AFG HGS works fine in FS9. In fs2002 the "click area" to activate the guidance cue is pretty huge (anywhere in the central third of the HGS) but in FS9 the "click area" is very tiny. It is located in the center of the turn scale just below the upper crossbar. Move your mouse around that area and when you are on the right spot the "hand" will appear. The same applies to the auto-land feature. The click area is still there but much reduced.I find the graphics of the HGS not as good in FS9 as FS2002, but I still use it anyway.Jay
