July 3, 200421 yr Hi all,Well, I'm makin' headway with the dual monitor setup but have run into a problem. The primary monitor is an 18" LCD (1280 by 1024 resolution)and the secondary monitor is a 15" LCD (resolution 1024 by 768). Video card is a Radeon Pro 128. Monitors work fine in this configuration; no problems.Initially, I started fs9 and undocked Fsnav and drug it over to the secondary monitor and everything went fine. Resolution is clearly 1024 by 768) Tonight, I started the default Cessna/Seattle flight, opened the radio stack (I have to do this all in window mode, not full screen, won't work) and drug it over to the secondary monitor. Everything cool. Now, when I alt + enter into full screen mode, the radio stack and fsnav flip to 800 by 600 and look really crappy (and smal, kinda blurry too). So, with my superior intelligence and computer like brain :-), I start a thinkin'.. Maybe an acceleration problem on the secondary monitor? So I set accerleration to none on the secondary monitor and when going to full screen mode, radio stack jumps back over to the primary monitor. Now, with all this free time I have, I go one notch at a time and when I hit the third notch from the left, the stack stays in position on the secondary monitor but, alas, back to the 800 by 600 when entering into full screen mode. Hmmmmmmmmm...So, that's where I'm stuck.BTW, what's the difference between full screen and windowed mode other that the task/menu bar? It seems like the textures on the aircraft load a lot faster in windowed mode. Thanks,Mark
July 3, 200421 yr I know what you're going through ... had a dual setup for FS2002, loved it (GPS and radio on the 2nd monitor for GA, overhead and FMC for jets), but stopped using it in FS9 because of the ... not so good ... multiple display handling. But there might at least be a cure to your resolution problem. Try to go to Settings -> Display -> Hardware in FS9. At the top of the dialog there is a drop down list that shows your graphics devices. Choose the second device and then change the resolution below. Hope this helps.Regarding window mode, I think several graphical features are not available (AA/AF), but I have not tried that out myself. Window borders and menus are too distracting for me.VOlker :]
