Flight Lessons: IFR Licence Flight

Featured Replies

Hi there.I just tried to fly all the licence flights of the flight lessons section. But i have a Problem with the IFR licence flight. The Program tells me to fly a course of 339 to SEA VOR (executing missed approach, continue on 339 etc.)Now: I can try what i want, the damn program always stops the flight lesson when i reach PARKK intersection and tells me that i didn't hold a course of 339.So i tried several ways of holding 339. Once, I only concentrated on holding 339 course on the OBS, holding the needle centered, but deviating slightly from heading 339 to keep it centered.A second time I concentrated on holding a steering course of 339 (on which it was difficult to have the needle centered all the time). But everytime i reach PARKK, the consequence is: You didn't hold a course of 339.So what's about this curse of 339? Bug or feature? I know for myself I flew it correct.Fox

You can read more about this here: http://www.simviation.com/fshelp.htm - the third item down under FS2004 is titled "Inside the FS2004 Instrument Rating Checkride".

There's also an extended discussion on this and other "bugs" in the IFR checkride here in the AVSIM forum. Search for "Avcomware."

Thank you!Now i know the error. A margin of only 2
