July 6, 200421 yr Hi,I'm trying to find tech. support for RealScene 2004. While flying to KALB (Albany, NY), I discovered an approximately 50-square-mile area around the city that displays a patchwork of grey tiles where the landclass isn't overlain on the terrain mesh. It's in a checkerboard pattern consisting of tiles of normal scenery, intermingled with grey DEM tiles with no landclass. I haven't noticed this phenomena anywhere else yet. I tried refreshing the scenery but it didn't help. Is this a known problem in this area? I can post some screenshots in a few days if requested. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
July 6, 200421 yr This usually happens when a custom landclass bgl is installed in a folder which contains a scenery subfolder (where the bgl resides) and a texture subfolder. Landclass bgl's can be installed in their own folder within a scenery subfolder, but that folder cannot contain a texture subfolder--the only exception being when the landclass uses custom terrain textures.-John
