Vox Installation and audio Quality

Featured Replies

I just installed my new VoxATC and the audio comes out broken ( not a complete sentence). In addition it came with only one voice type. I have a very high end computer with an NVIDIA video card. Please help. I own a Cessna 182 and would like to use VOXATC to practice my ATC comms since I am taking my IFR training.

jdiaz,

FSX version? Operating system?

Did you install all voices?

Thanks for Respoding to my request.

My versuon of FSX is: FSX gold.

Operating system is : Windos 7

Did you install all voices: I install Mail #1 and does not work. The only voice that works is Ann USA. Thanks.

jdiaz,

I assume Mail#1 is Male voice 1?

Have you installed the Voxpop base as well?

Does your voice recognition in Windows 7 work independantly from VoxATC?

What language is your Win 7 voice recognition using?

If you open Voice Configuration in VoxATC, which voices do you see?

Mr. Larsen;

I have installed Voxpop.

I am using Windows 7 Voice recognition.

I do not know which language.

When I open VocATC I see Mail voice 1 and Anne USA. When I click on Anne I can hear the voice but broken. when I click Mail No. 1 I do not hear anything. Thanks.

jdiaz,

Have you successfully calibrated your microphone in Win 7?

Are you able to do some of the Win 7 text to speech test under Speech recognition?
