July 10, 200421 yr OK there is a panel folder but is there anything in the folder? IF there is only a panel.cfg file( no bitmap etc) in the folder ,open it with notepad and see if the panel for your aircraft is aliased to some other aircraft panel.I just checked the file library for your d6vista.zip and came up with nothing - are you sure the file name is correct?Dave
July 10, 200421 yr Occasionally I've had installations where the panel folder is nested inside a second folder, also named panel. If this is the case, just remove it from the unnecessary folder.Good luck.
July 11, 200421 yr hello there dave. in that panel folder it has all the bitmap and panel.cfg file. i did open it and it has this in it.( [fltsim]alias=fsfsconvSuperOtter). in the aircraft folder for this plane that i have downloaded. it has a folder in their called FSfsconv and in there it does have the superotter file there with bitmap and panel.cfg....by the way i did give you the wrong zip file. here is the correct one...( D6GCAN24.ZIP )... and thank you for your help so far
July 11, 200421 yr OK - had a look at it- the instructions are not clear but this is what you do( or what I did to get it working).............Unzip the .zip file to a folder of your choice ( " New Folder" or whatever.Open the folder and place the contents of the aircraft folder( d6gcan24 and fsfsconv) into fs9/aircraft. If you already have a fsfsconv folder in fs9/aircraft then do not allow the new one to overwrite it , instead open the old fs9/fsfsconv and place the contents of the new fsfsconv(prosnd22 and SuperOtter) in it.Place the contents of the Effects folder in FS9/effects and the contents of the gauges folder in fs9/gauges(NB do not unzip the file dhc6_sw.zip- place in fs9/ gauges as is)Go and flyhope this helpsDave
