I have tried everything from re-intalling the program to manually changing the display settings one at a time. Nothing worked. The stuttering is only when I replay taking off or landing. Since the re-install I have not added any 3rd party software such as airplanes, enhaces, FSUIPC, etc. Please offer any suggestions to help troubleshoot.I have a P4 2.0gh processor with a 64mb Nvidia video card. FS2004 used to run perfectly under this hardware, it is only till recently I have been having problems with stuttering while replaying.

Sounds like a PC problem, I'd start with the normal things like scan for viruses, spyware, adware etc. Also a good defrag, scan disk and delete week old or older temp files.

When you talk about re-playing I assume you mean using the video utility in FS2004? If you are then the stuttering happens because of the recording interval rate. Take it down as low as it can go, you will not be able to get rid of the stutters but it will help.George
