DC-3 (Dakota) engine sound

Featured Replies

The default DC-3 of MSFS 2004 is a nice bird to fly, however the engine sound is absolutely horrible to hear and all but the famous DC-3 sound.Does somebody happen to know where to download a FS 2004-compatible soundfile, that produces the real, typical sound of the DC-3/Dakota engines??Paddy.

There are various soundsets available as alternatives, Paddy. Hunt on DC-3 in FS2004 SOUND in the library and you'll find some. I particularly recommend Trev Morson's, which are the ones I use; others like those by Des Braban. Others include those by Leon Medado and Aaron Swindle.Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP FleetDC-3 AirwaysP.S. Don't forget the MAAM-SIM birds too! And the old throaty FS2002 MAAM-SIM set which I just love.http://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg
