November 4, 201213 yr http://forum.avsim.n...-graphics-mode/ I posted my experience with trying to load X Plane 10 (N.A.) on my new AMD A10 system. The installer screen was unreadable until I disabled the "Dual Graphics" feature in AMD's Catalyst Control Centre. Dual Graphics is the term AMD uses when it basically crossfires a discrete graphic card with the GPU built into the A-Series APU's. There are only a very few specific cards that can be used in this Dual Graphics mode and it depends on which one of the A-Series APU (integrated graphic CPU) you have. This is part of the new Trinity Chipset and is a cool feature - when it works. Anyway I found that in order to be able to read the X Plane screen (the install screens in this case) I had to disable that feature. I posted my system specs in my post in the X Plane "Tricks & Tips" section but thought I'd cross reference it here in the Video Card section.
November 4, 201213 yr Author Well I got it loaded and guess what, once loaded you can re-enable the Dual Graphics setting and it works. I looks like the installer can't handle the dual graphics setting but the program itself seems to work just fine.
