Gameport-to-USB adapter - what settings, etc?

I've got a CH Yoke and Pedals, gameport, which I've been happy with for a number of years. When I updated my machine a couple of years ago, I had to add a card to get gameport capability. I'd like to upgrade to a newer machine without gameport using a gameport-to-USB adapter. I bought one from Radio Shack a couple of weeks ago, but I can't get it to correctly identify all the buttons.Some threads here indicate that people have made this work, including using the CH software to enable the toebrakes. If you have this working, even without toebrakes, how did you do it? Are you using the Radio Shack adapter, or someone else's? How did you configure the CH software? (I contacted CH, and they said they don't support this configuration.)Thanks for any suggestions.
