where is the FS9.cfg?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone: I need to do some changing of my video card in FS9.cfg, but I cant even find the file in my FS2004 folder anywhere, so... where is it? thanks

In Windows XP, look in::Documents and SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftFS9Hope this helps,KevinEDIT: As an afterthought, if you've updated drivers or changed videocards, your best bet may be to rename your current FS9.cfg file to something like FS9_ORIG.cfg and restart FS9 so it makes a new one. FS is quite particular in how it recognizes video cards and drivers, and you're usually better off if you let FS9 do its own thing in this regard (a generalization, I know, but one from experience). Then copy and paste the assignment sections and other bits you'd like to keep from your old FS9.cfg.
