Hi all, I'm getting back into flight simming after a long time away. The computer parts should start arriving this week! Does anyone have any suggestions for a clean install? I will be installing windows 7 on its own HD and FSX on another. I'll wait on buying add-ons for a while.

 

Are there any issues I need to know with Win 7? I plan on installing win7 and all the patches, then FSX.

Well, for one, be sure to install all newest drivers, including all the motherboard and intel drivers. Those are really important.

When you get FSX up and running, depending on what parts you are getting, I suggest you go through my blog and guide, it contains the most important info on setting up FSX http://forum.avsim.net/fsx_guide.pdf
