July 23, 200421 yr I use to be able to dial in the spoilers variably via a rotary knob with the registered FSUIPC, on my stick, but have forgotten how I did it. (I think I deleted my notes). Would any one here have this type of spoiler setup and let me know how ya did it?Thanks a tonSticks
July 23, 200421 yr I'm using the Saitex X-45 and use rotary #1 for spoilers. I used the assignment in FS joystick axi to set the knob for use as spoilers. In FSUPIC I created a little dead on each end, with out doing that in FSUIPC the spoilers would not always fully deploy or retract. I did the same thing to rotary #2 for flaps and since I have rudder pedals I use the Saiteck rudder axis to pan view left and right, another FS joystick possibility. You can do all that without FSUIPC, but I've found that having a little dead space on either end of the possible limits is pretty much critical.
July 23, 200421 yr I tried that... still a nogo. I remember installing a spolier statment in the FSUIPC.cfg but have forgotten what it was and what the parameter was. I'm using TM-Cougar atm.But thanks Grey_Wolf just the same for your replySticks
July 23, 200421 yr The line is:SpoilerIncrement=Default is 512. Full details, which I do not remember exactly, will be found in the FSUIPC readme as well as the Advanced Users document. One thing I remember is that to get the spoilers above the ARM position, you have to either use multiple pushes on the hotkey OR, change the increment. ARM is 4800. Total movement is 0 to 16384. I THINK I set my increment to 4800, then had a hot key for Spoilers Up (Shift+I) and Spoilers Down (Shift+D). Will let you do the math. :-)Designated the hot key via the FSUIPC interface. I use FlightDeck Companion's assignment function (Cxr) to assign it to controller buttons. Recently lost my HD, had to replace it--so am in the process of reconfiguring everything--this post is based on memory and some handwritten notes I have. HTH,Paul
