Lear 60

Featured Replies

Can anyone comment on Perfect Flights Lear 60? I would like ot get it but have not seen any reviews or heard anyone talk about it?Thanks.PS- Probably overshadowed by the Citiation X

Everything I have ever heard about Perfect Flight has been bad, and as such have given all there products a wide bearth.I would suggest you go to www.simmarket.com and read the reviews of "Perfect" Flights addons there, I think they will help you make up your mind ;)CheersDan.

Thanks Dan...I checked and the only review was positive, although sparse in information.Anyone know where I can find a more thorough review?

Hi,I have the aircraft. I would mostly agree with what Dan says about Perfect Flight, but this is one of their better offerings IMO. Be aware that I am not real critical about aircrafts, I'll fly anything. ;-) The 2D Panel is just ok. The Virtual Cockpit is actually pretty decent. I thought the model and and paints were really nice! Flight Dynamics are good to go. Not much of a review I know. Because it's been a while since I last flew it I would need to load it up and fly it in order to give into more detail. Right now I have to get back to mowing the lawn though. I would agree with the one review you found that is positive about the PF Lear 60 and I would actually recommend it if your are interested in it, even though I agree for the most part with what Dan said about PF. Heck, it's got a decent VC!! Since they updated their F-117A a couple of months ago it has also turned out to be one of their better offerings.Regards,Jim

Thanks Jim.I'll go with it since I wanyt to get more modern than the Falcoln 50 that I'm flying now and can't put down.Would have gone with the Citation X but it's nopt on CD.Looking forward to wheels up on the 60!Thanks for the response.

You're welcome Greg. I heard that Falcon 50 is a really nice aircraft, and freeware to boot. But since I've never tried out the Falcon 50 I can only hope the Lear 60 will worthy in contrast to that Falcon you're unable to put down. If I were you I would try hard to somehow download the Citation X though. It's one of my favorites.Cheers, :)Jim

When I upgrade my computer my first download will be the X.I only fly business jets on FS2002 so my choices are limited. The Falcoln is exceptional but it is version one of the 50 when it came out so it is all Steam Guages.I want to modernize.Thanks.

Fortunately, the Citation X comes in many formats. One of them is a Light version, which flies quite well in my system.
